About Us
The CityLight Life Development Center was established by the CityLight International Assembly, also known as “The CityLight Church” on July 12th, 2014 to carry out the church’s mission of bringing holistic revitalization to the lives and environment of the inner cities of Chicago and beyond.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be an effective faith-based catalyst for the development of people and communities. We value people’s potential, collaboration, sustainability, accountability, and faith.
Our Core Values
- People Potential – Everyone has the potential to make a difference in the world. The goal of LDC is to unlock, develop and deploy that potential.
- Collaboration – Abundant resources already exists within the community, the goal of the Life Development Center is to connect individuals and organizations with these resources for the achievement of their potentials and the communities’ full potential
- Sustainability – The goal of the Life Development Center is to help individuals and organization stand on their own. We work towards sustainable independence
- Accountability – We define measurable objectives for all our programs and work to achieve and report them.
- Faith – We believe that the author of potential and the enabler for the fulfillment of potentials is the Lord Jesus Christ, so all of our projects are embarked upon in full dependence on Him, with the goals of spreading His glory on the earth.
