What We Do
Through a partnership with various community organizations, the Life Development Center aims to be an effective faith-based catalyst for the development of lives the Chicago area and internationally. We provide innovative services in five areas: Leadership Development, Educational Enrichment, Community Engagement, Youth development and economic empowerment.
Our Vision is to be an effective faith-based catalyst for the development of people and communities. We value people-potential, collaboration, sustainability, accountability and faith.
Leadership Development
We provide leadership development through the leadership development initiative of the Life Development Center, leadership workshops and trainings.
Educational Enrichment
We currently offer educational enrichment programs and are developing more aimed at preparing residents of the community for the workplace.
Community Engagement
The Life Development Center engages in community advocacy and organizing to improve the overall quality of life of the residents.
Youth Development
The future of any community lies in its youth. We understand this dynamic and provide environments that promote youth development through events, summer camps and mentorships.
Economic Empowerment
We assist residents of the community through initiatives that empower them to be self sufficient. These include providing career resources and basic education in financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
